For over 35 years, George Foss has been helping businesses, trusts and individuals nationwide to better manage their real estate portfolios. Combining experience as a former real estate broker and consultant, with that of an experienced financial expert, bank director and business owner, George helps clients assess their needs, plot a course, and manage the in's and out's of complex tax-free exchange-based strategy.
In his career, George has worked with a variety of clients on 1031 exchanges, from small investment properties to large commercial transactions (and even a Stradivarius violin!). George's belief is that no project is too large or too small, and that navigating the complexity of an exchange while maximizing the benefit for clients is what matters. An active member of the 1031 Like-Kind Exchange community, George led the 2010 charge to change New Hampshire state law to allow single-member LLCs to complete 1031 exchanges.
A graduate of Brown University and Northeastern University, George served as President of Post Investment Properties, Ltd, in Fernandina Beach, Florida.
